-Blue Christmas Worship -
Thursday, December 19, 7:00pm
The purpose of this service is to allow time for prayer and reflection. Christmas can be a painful time for some. It may be the first Christmas without a loved family member who has recently passed on; it may be a time that has always been difficult. We need the space and time to acknowledge our sadness; we need to know that we are not alone. We will open LWLC to the community. The service is non-denominational and will last approximately 45 min with fellowship following. LWLC congregation welcome to attend.

"If you continue in my word you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free." John 8:31.
THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, WE ARE GROWING, SHARING, AND LIVING IN GOD'S WORD, JESUS CHRIST.
“Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." The Word of God from John 20:30-31
Welcome to Living Word Lutheran Church web site! Our aim is to help you and further the mission of Jesus Christ, equipping people to serve Him in daily living, believing and trusting in His promises. Hard though it may be to believe these days, Jesus has never broken a promise.
Christian believers are contending with powers that urge us to conform to the passions and pursuits of our times and our earthly dwelling. People of faith in God have always done this. Such opposition to the truth has been around since creation itself. The Holy Spirit urges us to seek insight and direction from Christ Jesus, that we would find His power transforms us and our service to this sad, dangerous, broken world. According to the apostle Paul, in Philippians 4, the Christian community is to “keep watchful, stand firm in your faith, be courageous and be strong” in standing up to the hollow promises of our modern age. The Word of God is timeless and true, as real these days as in Paul’s lifetime.
At Living Word Lutheran Church, the authority of God’s Word is taught and believed the best director of our life and faith, here and now. We rejoice in the fact that Christ Jesus has secured for us the forgiveness of sins through His own life, death and resurrection. Jesus’ promise of salvation is for you, and for every person who believes in Him. We are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord, as Paul writes in Romans 8.
We invite you to witness the Spirit of God at work in Living Word Lutheran Church through the proclamation of God’s Word and our joyous response of faith. Christ’s peace be with you.
